On Board Regulations
Respecting the sea, the crew, and each other for a better experience
⚓ On Board Etiquette
To ensure an enjoyable experience for everyone, please follow these simple guidelines:
-
No shoes on board – barefoot or boat-appropriate clean soles only
-
Smoking is strictly prohibited while sailing
-
Alcohol: Please avoid excessive consumption. Personal alcohol is not allowed on board.
If you’d like to enjoy white wine or sparkling wine during the tour, let us know at least one day in advance. We’ll be happy to provide a selection of organic and non-organic low-sulphite wines (subject to availability and extra cost on day tours; included in weekend/week-long tours).
The captain reserves the right to limit alcohol consumption for safety and comfort. -
No shouting or loud music – let’s maintain a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere
-
No fishing or collecting marine life such as starfish, shellfish, or underwater plants
-
Plastic bags and single-use plastic are not allowed onboard
-
Please avoid using sunscreen or tanning oils that contain pollutants – these can damage the boat’s materials. Always use a towel or cloth when lying on the deck
-
Children: Sailing is ideal for calm and relaxed children. Parents/guardians are responsible for their supervision at all times
-
If you’re prone to seasickness, we strongly recommend taking medication before boarding
🌊 Eco-Friendly Sailing

-
Do not use the toilet while the boat is docked in port
-
Never throw toilet paper in the toilet – use the bin provided
-
No plastic or polluting materials onboard
-
Conserve water – it’s precious on board. Use only what’s necessary for personal hygiene
-
Use a glass when brushing teeth, and take short showers when available
-
Travel light: bring only the essentials

🌬 The Spirit of Sailing
Sailing is not just transportation – it’s a way of life. On board:
-
Everyone is encouraged to participate and collaborate with the crew
-
Respect the natural rhythm of the wind and sea – sailing is about the journey, not the destination
-
Disconnect from routine and reconnect with nature, simplicity, and serenity
⛵ Itinerary Adjustments
The skipper reserves the right to change the route, stops, or timing of the itinerary at any moment based on sea or wind conditions.
